How do I know if my images are print ready?

A basic rule of thumb is 150 ppi (pixels per inch) are required at the final size of the image. As a reference, images from a website have 72 ppi and are roughly 2” x 2”.

What does “backing” mean?

DuPont has three “backing” options to print an image on: Clear – See through where there is no printing

Soft White (80% Light Transmission) – Light-etched look with no printing

Translucent White (65% Transmission) – Heavier etched look with no printing

What are the benefits of laminated safety glass?

There are multiple benefits of using laminated safety glass. By code, it is a safety glass. Architects have used laminated glass for years to improve security, reduce sound, and lower ultraviolet radiation. New uses include solar control, structural benefits, bomb blast protection and unique decorative applications.

How do I get samples?

There are several sources of samples:

1) General samples can be requested from DuPont or a qualified laminator.
