FILE GUIDELINES
Print Ready Files
Minimum fee of $3,500.00 to prepare files for production. Submitted with digital image files ready for print.
Each glass panel must be sent in separate image file.
Digital Scans
Original artwork, photos or transparencies must be pro- fessionally scanned, colored and corrected with high-end scanner from 4” x 5” (102mm x 127mm) originals.

• Quark Express (Mac/PC) EPS • Freehand (Mac/ PC) Editable E PS

Note:
• Adobe P D F s are not acceptable
• CAD files (e.g. DWG or DXF) are not acceptable
** Required File Formats. Must be supplied in digitized format (CD or DVD). All others will be subject to a conversion fee of $200.00/ hr.

File Guidelines
Bitmapps must be converted to unflattened PS D or TI FF. Illustrator or E PS fonts must be supplied by client if requested. Photo Shop gradients are preferable.
Linked documents must be accompanied by associated graphics & fonts.
Scaling, Resolution & File Size
Vector Elements – can be small files that generate images and can enlarge to any size with no detail loss.
Rastorized images – should be full size and approximately 150-200 pixels per inch (ppi) for best resolution.

• Substrate – Will use PPG Starphire® low-iron* glass exclusively

• Lightfastness – Image resistance to light
• Interlayers are laminated to glass and protected from pollutants and humidity
• Blocks transmission of UV rays that cause fading
• Testing by DuPontTM determined that interlayers should have limited fading or discoloration for 10 years of exposure.
Exclusions
• Use with SentryGlas® Plus (incompatible)
• Splicing
• Printing of replacement pieces originally created by other vendors
• Installations with exposed glass edges
• Warranty for white ink in exterior applications
• File maintenance
*PPG Starphire® low-iron glass is recommended due to its exceptional clarity.
